Campaign Goal: $40,000 to provide sustainable clean water access across Ogun State.
In many parts of Ogun State, the search for water is a daily struggle—one often led by children and women. From walking miles to murky streams, to battling diseases from contaminated wells, the cost of water scarcity isn’t just measured in thirst—it’s measured in lives lost, school days missed, and dignity eroded.
BCO Foundation believes clean water is a right—not a privilege. Through your support, we can provide community boreholes, fitted with solar-powered pumps or hand pumps, for long-term, sustainable water access.
Impact:
One motorized or hand-pump borehole for a cluster of 100–200 people
Installation includes basic water tank, tap outlets, and hygiene sensitization
Beneficiaries: A small hamlet, farmland dwellers, church settlements, or Fulani camps
"You’ve saved children from walking two hours for a bucket. You’ve given a mother her time and her health back."
Impact:
Solar-powered borehole reaching 500+ people
Covers areas like Odeda, Ikenne, or remote parts of Ifo
Includes: storage tanks, tap points across key locations (market square, health center, school)
"Now the village has water—at home, at school, at the clinic. Waterborne diseases drop. Girls return to class. Life flows again."
Impact:
2–3 boreholes across multiple communities within one political ward
Serves over 1,500 residents, covering both central and remote outskirts
Water stations built near schools, health posts, and agricultural zones
"This means healthy crops. It means better hygiene. It means dignity for elders and opportunity for children."
Impact:
Up to 4 solar-powered boreholes across strategic towns and villages in one Local Government Area (e.g., Sagamu, Abeokuta South)
Reaches 3,000–5,000 people
Partnering with local youth for maintenance training
"You're not just giving water. You're building water resilience—for a whole district."
Impact:
10+ borehole systems across multiple LGAs in Ogun State
Serving over 10,000+ people, focusing on schools, rural markets, maternity clinics, and neglected communities
Full implementation with solar panels, storage tanks, maintenance teams, and educational water hygiene workshops
"This is a state-wide water revolution. It saves lives, fuels learning, boosts farming—and restores the dignity of entire communities."
Because water is:
Health
Time
Education
Livelihood
And, simply, life itself.
"One borehole today means generations of clean water tomorrow."
